Our Instructors

Both Serghei and Natalie are world accomplished dancers and choreographers, with many local and international titles to their credit.  And both have years of experience teaching dancing.   You may already know Serghei and Natalie from their regular appearances as dance professionals on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ in Australia.   You couldn't learn from two more highly qualified teachers!

Serghei  Bolgarschii 

Serghei Bolgarschii has been competing in major international dance competitions (in Ballroom and Latin) throughout Europe since the age of 14, achieving high placing in major dance competitions in France, Germany, Russia, the Ukraine, Belarus, Latvia, Romania, Estonia, Poland and Switzerland.  Between 1997 and 1998, he was ranked best in the world in World Formation Standard, Europe Formation Standard and came third in World Cup Formation Latin.

Serghei has attained the highest teaching accreditation in Russia and has been teaching dance for the past 12 years: in Singapore, Hong Kong, the Caribbean and in Australia. 

Serghei has appeared in 3 series of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ in Australia: partnering Jennifer Hawkins a Miss Universe, successful model/figurehead for Myer and a presenter on the highly rated TV Travel program, The Great Outdoors; with Fiona Faulkner a successful contestant on the Australian reality TV show, the Biggest Loser; with the popular and well respected journalist/news presenter, Jessica Rowe.

Natalie Lowe

Natalie Lowe has been dancing since she was a young child and has received high placing in many Australian Open Championships (Amateur Ballroom, National Capital championships, Crown International Dancesport Championships) and has also competed successfully in major competitions in England, Norway, Japan, India, Spain, Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia.  She has won the New Vogue category at the Australian Dancesport Competition in 2006 and 2007. 

Natalie has appeared in 5 series of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ in Australia: partnering Beyond Tomorrow host, Matt Shirvington; NRL rugby star, Ian Roberts; AFL footballer, Anthony Koutoufides (winning the series);  Home and Away actor, Tim Campbell and Australian champion boxer, Danny Green in the most recent series (coming runner-up).  Natalie has appeared in the successful stage shows ‘Burn the Floor’ and 'Floor Play' in Australia and has been an assistant choreographer on the highly rated TV program ‘So You Think You Can Dance’.Natalie has been teaching dance for many years.  Natalie has a wealth of dancing experience to share with you on The Ultimate Wedding Dance DVD
